A1 Bakery. Okay, that's classic. I love A1 Bakery. That is classic. I grew up there. Cheese pie!! Their lemon mint drink. It's a classic Leb, Egyptian, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern drink.
There is actually a place around the corner called Capitano's. The vodka pasta! I remember the first time I took a bite out of that vodka pasta, I actually got emotional. I was like, nah, this is fun. This is like, insane.
And honestly, Nando's. I am a sucker for Nando's. Just give me some Nando's.
WHAT'S THE MOST OVERRATED THING IN YOUR CITY?
Yeah, like I would say... I feel like everything... You reckon? Everything is blah. I just came back from Egypt. So everything here is bland and boring in comparison. We're in the post holiday depression phase.
WHAT'S THE MOST UNDERRATED THING IN YOUR CITY?
I feel like the music. I feel like people are aware but they're not aware enough. There's no industry backing. Whereas like, in Sydney it's all like, happy, fuckin rainbows music and like all the labels backing it. But in Melbourne it's like... Nothing. Just nothing.We've got like, dope artists.
WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO ON REPEAT?
There is a song, and it's called um, Akuleki. Yeah, it's a little piano joint. But it's just so, like, beautiful. It's just such a beautiful song. So that's what I've been vibing. Especially now that the sun's out.
WHAT DO YOU WANT FOR YOU BIRTHDAY?
There's a few things on the list. You know what? You know what I really want? A Prada moon bag. Someone tell someone to buy that for me, please. Oh and I want a yacht. Yeah. And I want it to be based on the Red Sea.
